There's no doubt about it. Whether it's keeping your grammar straight, weaving storylines, or just finding the strength to face an empty document, writing takes serious effort.
But it doesn't have to be scary! With my help, you'll fill every plot hole, bridge every narrative gap, and get to that place you never thought you'd see: the last page.
I'm an experienced writer and editor, ready to help you with any kind of writing you need. I work with authors of short stories, novels, histories, articles, essays, scripts, and even fanfiction! Within that, I offer specialized support for numerous genres, from fantasy to romance to mystery and more!
Every writer is unique. That's why I offer a variety of services to fit different needs.
I can work with you in one-on-one meetings or through correspondence. I'm able to tailor my help to substantive editing, narrative-building, writing exercises, research assistance, free-form guidance, or a mix of it all. What matters is meeting you where you are to get your writing to flow.
My rates are based on the kind of work we do together. I charge a standard rate of $45(USD) per hour-long one-on-one session or per correspondence, guaranteed to be 2-5k in length.
For editing work, I charge $14(USD) per 1,000 words you would like me to go over. You're welcome to send smaller portions of your writing if that's what suits your budget!
I determine the cost of research assistance on a case-by-case basis, based on the topic and the amount of material you need. If you want an idea what your project would cost, go ahead and ask me for a quote!
Sure, depending on what the project is. I do this work because I love writing! My big exception is that it has to be for an assignment I can put my name on. I won't ghost write applications, homework, or stories. But if you're happy with putting my name on the by-line, then I'm happy to work with you!
My rate for original writing is $.10 per word (USD), with two rounds of editing included.
It can be intimidating to write about marginalized groups, whether you're a part of them or not. I offer my clients guidance on how to respectfully portray different kinds of characters. I particularly encourage you to reach out if you are a queer writer or wish to write about queer characters.
